Appointment of Hesco Agencies Ltd as Japan Agency
As part of our commitment of “Driving Connectivity” for our customers and partners, we are pleased to appoint Hesco Agencies Ltd as the General Agency for Mariana Express Lines (MELL) in Japan. Hesco Agencies Ltd will replace our current agency Mariana shipping, Japan Co., Ltd. with effect from 17 August 2024.
Hesco Agencies Ltd has a sound track record in Japan. They started as a subsidiary of Hong Kong Eastern Shipping Co which was bought by Ben Line Agencies Japan in 1989. Since then, Hesco Agencies Ltd has supported various shipping lines including Tasman Orient Line, AAL, Transportación Maritima Mexicana (TMM), Shipping Corporation of India, among others, for more than three decades in Japan.
The appointment will be effective for the feeder vessels sailing into and out of Japan (include outside feeders) after 16 August 2024.
